HOW CAN WE GET RID OF DEPRESSIONS

SOMETIMES WE THINK THAT WE ARE UNLUCKY OR DON'T DESERVE A CERTAIN THING. THIS CREATES A BIG DEPRESSION IN OUR MIND AND WE KILL OURSELVES. BUT THE THING ISN'T THAT. WE RUN AFTER THINGS WHICH ARE NOT MADE FOR US AND STILL QUESTION OUR LUCK. WHY CANT WE MAKE US UNDERSTAND THAT IF THINGS ARE GETTING US SAD SHOULD NOT BE THOUGHT FOR AT ALL. WE SHOULD TURN OUR EYES AWAY FROM THOSE THINGS AND SEE THE WORLD WHICH HAS MILLIONS OF NEW THINGS WAITING FOR US. HOW CAN ANYTHING MAKE US SAD OR THROW US INTO DEPRESSIONS.

WE ARE THE CREATORS OF OUR OWN DESTINY (SWAMI VIVEKANANDA). WE SHOULD KNOW OUR OWN IMPORTANCE TO US AND THEN THINK ABOUT OTHERS. OUR LIFE IS OURS AND NO BODY OR NOTHING HAS THE RIGHT TO PLAY WITH IT. OUR LIFE WILL TAKE US THE WAY WE WANT TO BE. OUR STEPS MOVE FORWARD TO THE DIRECTION AS INITIATED BY OUR BRAIN. WHY THEN WE INITIATE WRONG THINGS OUR OWN SELVES AND THUS JUMPING INTO DARK PITS.

IF SUN SETS AND THERE IS DARKNESS ALL AROUND, WE SHOULD NOT THINK THAT LIFE HAS GOT DARKER, BUT WE SHOULD MOVE OUR VISION AND THOUGHT TO THE PART OF THE WORLD WHICH IS GETTING THE SUN SHINE. SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN AND THAT IS NATURAL. EVEN SUN SETS AND LIGHTENS THE MOON SO THAT WE KNOW, THE DARKNESS IS MOMENTARY. IF WE WALK ON MUD WE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID OF GETTING MESSED UP. RATHER WE SHOULD ENJOY OUR WALK.

WILL TO WIN SHOULD BE SUCH STRONG THAT NO PAINS ON THE WAY CAN EVEN BE NOTICED. GOAL IS IMPORTANT , REST ALL ARE LIKE NIGHTS......WILL PASS AWAY. DAY IS THE GOAL.

Nobel Prize 2009 For Indian Born.

There is every reason for Every Indian to walk with heads up. Dr.Venkatraman Ramakrishnan Indian Born , US Citizen Wins the Nobel Prize 2009 for Chemistry.

Venkatraman Ramakrishnan
, US citizen. Born in 1952 in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India. Ph.D. in Physics in 1976 from Ohio University, USA. Senior Scientist and Group Leader at Structural Studies Division, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK.

Venkatraman Ramakrishnan won the Nobel Prize for his work on the ribosome translates the DNA code into life .

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry for 2009 awards studies of one of life's core processes: the ribosome's translation of DNA information into life. Ribosomes produce proteins, which in turn control the chemistry in all living organisms. As ribosomes are crucial to life, they are also a major target for new antibiotics.

This year's Nobel Prize in Chemistry awards Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, Thomas A. Steitz and Ada E. Yonath for having showed what the ribosome looks like and how it functions at the atomic level. All three have used a method called X-ray crystallography to map the position for each and every one of the hundreds of thousands of atoms that make up the ribosome.

Inside every cell in all organisms, there are DNA molecules. They contain the blueprints for how a human being, a plant or a bacterium, looks and functions. But the DNA molecule is passive. If there was nothing else, there would be no life.

The blueprints become transformed into living matter through the work of ribosomes. Based upon the information in DNA, ribosomes make proteins: oxygen-transporting haemoglobin, antibodies of the immune system, hormones such as insulin, the collagen of the skin, or enzymes that break down sugar. There are tens of thousands of proteins in the body and they all have different forms and functions. They build and control life at the chemical level.

An understanding of the ribosome's innermost workings is important for a scientific understanding of life. This knowledge can be put to a practical and immediate use; many of today's antibiotics cure various diseases by blocking the function of bacterial ribosomes. Without functional ribosomes, bacteria cannot survive. This is why ribosomes are such an important target for new antibiotics.

This year's three Laureates have all generated 3D models that show how different antibiotics bind to the ribosome. These models are now used by scientists in order to develop new antibiotics, directly assisting the saving of lives and decreasing humanity's suffering.

What was supposed to be a yearlong celebration of Motown Records’ 50th anniversary, turned into a major tragedy with the death on Thursday of one of its biggest stars, Michael Jackson.

The 50-year-old self-proclaimed “King of Pop” died of suspected cardiac arrest as he was about to launch a major comeback with a string of 50 concerts in London.

It comes 25 years after the death of another Motown alumnus, Marvin Gaye, who was also on the comeback trail. Gaye was shot to death by his father in a domestic dispute.

Jackson rose to fame as the youngest member of the Jackson 5, a group that Motown founder Berry Gordy was initially reluctant to sign. “He didn’t want any more kid acts because Stevie Wonder was more than a handful,” said former Motown executive Suzanne de Passe, who lobbied Gordy to sign them.

De Passe toured extensively with the Jackson 5, taking charge of their costumes, schooling, choreography and concert production. “Michael was very mischievous back in those days,” de Passe said, recalling that he loved to hide in closets and behind doors to scare unsuspecting targets. She dubbed him “Casper,” and when she saw him decades later mobbed by fans, she yelled out “Casper!” and Jackson immediately rushed over to give her a hug.

Jackson left Motown for the greener pastures of Epic Records in 1979, and de Passe said she last spoke to him about three years ago. She was on a retreat when she heard of Jackson’s death, and described the news as “the shock of my life.”

Until Thursday, Gaye was probably Motown’s highest-profile casualty. The tortured soul’s career was marked by drugs, divorce, label disputes and bankruptcy. Drugs, poverty, suicide and murder claimed many other Motown figures. A year before Gaye was killed, virtuoso bass player James Jamerson died in obscurity. A raging alcoholic who played on Gaye’s landmark 1971 album “What’s Going On,” Jamerson has since been deified by aficionados.

Inspiration.........................

When I do good, I feel good; when I do bad, I feel bad, and that is my religion........a true beginning always depends upon the way we approach towards them. Deeds are good or bad. Selection is always in our hands. Wrong deeds gives us timely pleasure and happiness. Its like bubbles, which looks beautiful though lasts for moments. Good deeds are the kind of investments which last even after we leave this world. Good deeds if left incomplete are overtaken by others to increase the beauty of the world more and more.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. We must set our goal and also realize, the achievement once we reach them. We should not feel regretted once we achieve what we needed. But we should feel the magical happiness once we reach the goal and turn back towards others and say," Try reaching here, its a wonderful feeling". "Those who fear, they never reach near. But those who dare, the world is their." We have both within us, Fear and Courage. The thing that matters is our selection. What we select for our life , is what we achieve for our life. Most of the people think that its very tough for what they want to be. My friend, Until you spread your wings, You'll have no idea how far can you fly.

Asim Banerjee :- A Dedicated inspiration to all Bodybuilders and youngsters.

Bodybuilding !!! There is no one in this world who don't want to have a good physique, whether male or female all in this world seek to have a good physique. But as beautiful it looks , as tough it is. But there is always a saying, "slow river cuts the rock". Here is an example of a true dedication which never fades out before giving you the fruit you deserve. His name is Asim Banerjee. He is one of my very dear friends and someone with whom I always had some expectations. He is a true inspiration to all the bodybuilders who sometimes feel that its tough and get disheartened . Bodybuilding is never a easy theme of sports. Its one of the toughest ever game in the history of world sports. It really takes a lot to be a bodybuilder than to be a model. Asim Banerjee is the guy who faced a lot in his bodybuilding career yet he never shook out of his way in spite of all the storms and thunders. The guy was not even on the top 10 at the 2008 Mr.India contest. But this year he roared like a Raging Lion at the Stage and won Bronze at the Senior Mr.India competition held at Kolkata 2009. He proved the saying to be very true that," Where there is a will , There is a way".
Earlier this year, he broke all the shackles to shut the mouth up for all those who criticized him earlier that he wont be able to beat the depth of even Mr.Orissa. He Proved that he is the best in Orissa and that no one can make any doubt that he is the undisputed champ. Then came the Big One..........the MR.INDIA. He proved that he is determined to break any barriers and won the Bronze for the first time by anyone from Orissa.

Bravo...Asim.........
..go ahead dude....I wish you will be the first one to touch the stage of Olympia too..........Go ahead.......the brave ones will always remain ahead. This is what a man of strong determination can do...

Worship of Living God.

The secret of religion lies not in theories but in practice. To be good and to do good--that is the whole of religion. 'Not he that crieth "Lord", "Lord", but he that doeth that will of the Father.'
Be moral. Be brave. Be a heart-whole man. Strictly moral, brave unto desperation. Don't bother your head with religious theories. Cowards only sin, brave men never, no, not even in mind.
If you are really pure, how do you see the impure ? For what is within, is withoug. We cannot see impurity without having it inside ourselves. this is one of the practical sides of Vedanta, and I hope that we shall all try to carry it into our lives.
Doing good to others is virtue (Dharma or Religion); injuring others is sin. Strength and manliness are virtue; weakness and cowardice are sin. Independence is virtue; dependence is sin. Loving others is virtue; hating others is sin. Faith is God and in one's own Self is virtue; doubt is sin. Knowledge of oneness is virtue ; seeing diversity is sin.
The watcword of all well-being, of all moral good is not 'I' but 'Thou'. Who cares whether there is a heaven or a hell, whocares if there is a soul or not, who cares if there is an unchangeable or not ? Here is the world, and it is full of misery. Go out into it as Buddha did, and struggle to lessen it or die in the attempt. forget yourselves ; this is the first lesson to be learnt, whether you are a theist or an atheist, whether you are an agnostic or a Vedantist, a Christian or a Mohammedan. The one lesson obvious to all the destruction of the little self and the building up ;of the Real Self.
After so muchausterity, I have understood this as the real truth -- God is present in every living being; there is no other God besides that. ' Who serves all the living beings, serves God indeed.'

These are His manifold forms before thee,
Rejecting them, where seekest thou for God?
Who loves all beings, without distinction,
He indeed is worshipping best his God
(Swami Vivekananda)
